The Lovingston Cafe was established in 1993 and is located in the Village of Lovingston, Virginia, county seat of Nelson County. Convenient highway access off US 29 we are centrally located about 30 minutes away from the cities of Waynesboro, Lynchburg and Charlottesville. Nelson County is bordered by The Blue Ridge Parkway James River and Albemarle and Amherst counties.

Family operated for over 17 years the Cafe specializes in seafood, quality hand-cut steaks, hand crafted sausages, fresh vegetables, and home made soups and desserts. Lunch starts at 10:30 am and dinner begins at 4:00 pm. Custom catering, boxed lunches, and semi-private rooms are available on request. Lounge opens nightly at 4:30, closing time varies.
Holidays: Christmas Eve we close after lunch and remain closed on Christmas Day.  We also close for Thanksgiving Day and Easter Sunday.
